Challenge
One of our customers had been using N, N-Dimethyldodecylamine N-Oxide, which they were importing and getting at an exorbitant cost. When we approached the customer for our range of products, they said that they can give us an entry provided we develop the product.
Solution
We took this challenge to our R&D team who started working on this project and in 4 months’ time, our R&D team were able to develop the product and we offered the same to our customer at less than half of the cost at which they were importing. The customer was delighted and gave us the assignment for their complete range of chemicals.
We have been serving this customer for 9 years now and they remain one of our top customers. This is a classic case of win-win where the customer got an import substitute product at half the cost and we got their complete requirement due to this product.
